Masindi
The gateway town to Murchison Falls
Masindi is the traditional gateway to Murchison Falls National Park, a friendly town of tree-lined streets and old colonial buildings. The Kibiro salt gardens and Bujagali... the real stars are nearby: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary lies just to the south, and the park gates lie just to the north.
Masindi makes a natural overnight stop that breaks the drive from Kampala into two easy halves.
