3 days / 2 nights itinerary
3-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
One hour with a mountain gorilla family.
The essential gorilla safari: drive or fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, spend a morning trekking to a habituated gorilla family, and take your restricted hour among them. Permits are limited — we book them the moment you confirm.
Day by day
Day 1
Journey to the forest
Drive southwest through Ankole cattle country and the Kigezi highlands to Bwindi, arriving in the evening for dinner and a trek briefing.
Day 2
Gorilla trekking
After an early briefing, trek into the forest with rangers to find your gorilla family — one hour in their presence, watching them feed, groom and play. The trek takes 2–6 hours depending on the family; afternoon at leisure or a community walk.
Day 3
Return to Kampala
Breakfast among the hills, then the return journey to Kampala or a drop-off at Kigali, Rwanda, if you prefer.
