Day by day
Day 1
Travel to Kibale Forest
Depart Kampala or Entebbe and travel west to Kibale National Park. Settle into your lodge ahead of chimpanzee trekking.
Day 2
Chimpanzees & Bigodi Wetland
After the park briefing, follow the guides through Kibale for chimpanzee trekking, subject to permit availability. After lunch, visit Bigodi for a guided wetland and community experience.
Day 3
Kibale to Queen Elizabeth
Travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park. An afternoon game drive may be included if transfer timing allows before settling into your lodge.
Day 4
Wildlife & Kazinga Channel
Take an early game drive and an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Look for wildlife and birds without assuming any particular sighting.
Day 5
Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi
Travel toward Bwindi through southwestern Uganda. Your lodge must be matched to the confirmed trekking sector and the following day’s transport plan.
Day 6
Gorilla trekking & onward arrangements
Attend the briefing and trek with park rangers, subject to a confirmed permit. The onward transfer remains under operational review; same-day road arrival in Kampala or Entebbe after trekking is not promised.
